Week 7 Post 2

I really liked how our book mentioned how same sex parents have just as good as parenting rates as a nuclear family. I think our society often looks down on that and says how it's not healthy for the child to grow up in that type of household, but in reality it doesn't make a difference. I also found it really interesting how it says only 9% of families are stepparent families. With today and how divorce is so relavent you would have assumed there would've been a lot more family's run with a step parent then there really is
