Week 3, Post 2

I really enjoyed the discussion board this week. After reading the chapter, then watching the video, I felt like I really understood the chapter. I felt like the video was very similar to the chapter, and a lot of things from the chapter was reinforced by the video. Plus I learned a lot of extra and interesting facts from the video. For example it showed the similarities of mothers from different countries talking to their babies, and it showed that every mother talked to their babies in "motherese". For some reason I didn't think that every culture talked to their children the same way. 

Also I found it really enjoyable looking for videos for part two of the discussion board. I loved watching how young children and babies respond to their parents. A lot of the videos that I watched from other people responses showed that children love to be talked to, and they love to answer there mothers.
