WEEK 1 POST 1

In this chapter I learned a couple of new things. One thing that I learned is that science has helped and shaped people’s lives in many ways. For instance the use of correlations is very helpful; but they are usually used to prove cause rather than simply indicate connection.  I learned that the five characteristics of development; Multidirectional, multidisciplinary, multicontextual, multicultural, plasticity. The one I found the most interesting was the plasticity development. I liked this development because its inclines that everyone’s individual traits can be altered or change. I believe that everyone are not the same person they are ten years ago, some traits remained the same but some traits changed as well. I also found multicultural interesting as well because cultures also affect how people develop as well.
