Week 2 Post 2

The process of cognitive equilibrium process sound very fascinating to know how information is gained from an individual to learn facts and how to adapt to more thought processes. Another process that I found interesting is the information process and how it compares human thinking processes by analogy, to computer analysis data including sensory input, connections, stored memories and output (Berger, p.47). Not only does it define and explain the information process being used along side with the cognitive theory it shows proof that researchers have used technology in brain scans to figure out how the mind functions. One example of how the information process can be sped up in the brain is when working within a group; when working in a group many thoughts and ideas are being passed around which then sparks other processes in an individuals mind rather than working individually. A second example from the text that affects how information is processed in the brain is when an individual or child has ADHD. When a child has ADHD the information in there brains is not fully functioning since a part in there brain fulling functioning for them to relax and understand what is being said. Since the part of the brain is not fulling functioning like a "normal" persons it then can lead to difficulties learning in school, obeying there parents and making friends. This is a crucial example and to connect the information process to technology and how our brain functions can help know how to deal with individuals with ADHD so that there brains can be strengthened to function like a normal persons brain.
