Week 1 post 1

            Throughout my college career being a business major I did not take a lot of psychology classes but psychology has always been an interest of mines. I have always been interested in what makes us act and do the things that we do.  Being from a different culture and living in a foreign land plays a big part in my culture and the person that I am today. I think this is why psychology has been and interest of mines.

            I think human development is the most interesting yet for me personally. As mention in the book there so many factors that can have an effect on developing humans.  This makes me take a deeper looking into my life and how I was raised things that I call norms others think are weird or even different. Being from another culture I value different things than some of the friends that I have met here in America. While I have evolved and adjusted here there are things are embedded within me that will never change. Some of the many various things that will forever bind me to home.
